Articles for Allies



Just being not black, does not make someone an ally. According to Merriam-Webster, an ally is "one that is associated with another as a helper : a person or group that provides assistance and support in an ongoing effort, activity, or struggle." Assistance and support requires action. Standing on the sideline and cheering us on is not enough to create allyship.
