We are thrilled to share that two members of the WOCCON community have been selected as finalists in the MedTech Color national competition! The 4th Annual Pitch Competition will take place on March 15, 2024.
Expect Fitness (Dara Cook, Founder) was selected as one of the top ten finalists in the competition. The top prize is $75,000 in non-dilutive funding, and all finalists are invited to join the MedTech Color community. The pitch event will feature a VC-matchmaking event and a lunch reception with VCs and sponsors. "As the MedTech competition is sponsored by healthcare giants like Johnson & Johnson and the NIH, Expect is excited to share our life and cost-saving solution with new audiences,” shared Dara.
Rubitection (Sanna Gaspard, Founder) was selected as one of the top five Pediatric finalists in the MedTech Color edition of “Make Your Medical Device Pitch for Kids!”™ competition. The finalists will compete for a share of up to $50,000 in grants funded by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that will support innovators’ efforts to bring their devices to the commercial market for the benefit of children everywhere.
