Creating Conscious Collisions Philadelphia

"Events like this are so important for founders, founders of color, Black women, because of the opportunity," said Philomina Kane, CEO of Kin Apparel, during our Creating Conscious Collisions event in Philadelphia on June 11, 2024.

With 26 attendees, the event was a powerful gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, business executives, and allies, all coming together to create meaningful connections. Philomina’s words highlight the critical role these gatherings play in supporting Black women entrepreneurs, who have long been the backbone of innovation but often face barriers in accessing capital. She emphasized how these events help build a community that offers both reassurance and resources for their entrepreneurial journeys. Her testimony reinforces the importance of fostering opportunities and lasting connections for founders of color. See the highlights here.
