Rewriting the Narrative of the American Dream

As conversations across the country turn toward America250, I've found myself thinking less about anniversaries and more about the future we have the opportunity to create. Milestones invite us to celebrate, but they also remind us that the choices we make today will shape the opportunities available for generations to come.
At IFEL, our mission has always been to expand access to entrepreneurship by ensuring more founders have the capital, connections, and support they need to succeed. We believe that when entrepreneurs are equipped to grow, they don't just build businesses - they create jobs, strengthen communities, and contribute to a more resilient economy.
Investing in Connections That Matter
This year, we've seen that belief come to life through Capital Circles. What began as an idea has grown into a movement that brings together business leaders, volunteers, and entrepreneurs to solve real challenges, open doors, and create meaningful opportunities. Every connection made reinforces something we've always known: community is one of the most powerful forms of capital.
Strengthening the Leaders Around Us
Building stronger ecosystems also means investing in the people who lead them. That's why we're excited to launch Learn Lead Lift with Wendy Ryan. This initiative will help leaders develop the awareness, skills, and courage to foster cultures where innovation thrives because diverse perspectives are welcomed, valued, and empowered.
Expanding Who Gets to Invest
We're also proud to welcome the NASDAQ Foundation as a new partner in this work. Their support will help expand Main Street Angels into Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana, creating more opportunities for individuals to become angel investors and helping founders gain access to the early-stage capital that fuels business growth. Inclusive investing doesn't just strengthen entrepreneurs—it strengthens entire communities.
The Future Is Built Together
The future isn't created by a single organization or a handful of investors. It's built by people who choose to share their expertise, open their networks, invest in new ideas, and believe in the potential of others.
Thank you for being part of this community. Together, we're helping ensure that the next generation of entrepreneurs has more opportunities than the last—and that the future of American entrepreneurship is stronger, more connected, and more inclusive than ever before.
Yours in partnership,
Jill + Team IFEL
