Expanding Investor Networks
IFEL announced its third annual collaboration with WOCIP, a national nonprofit organization that works to advance health equity in November. The collaboration featured leading founders in the healthcare space during WOCIPs annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
Events, allies, investors and champions were introduced to five incredible founders as they took the stage to present their businesses. They gained a greater understanding of the innovations that are solving today’s problems. Thanks to their hard work, thoughtful pitches, and the strengthened connections they made with the audience, three of these featured founders successfully secured funding for their projects. More importantly, the champions in the audience were so moved by the presentations that they lingered to chat. Their continued conversations and the eagerness to support innovative, women-led ventures is a testament to the power of collaboration.
This generosity is an outcome of such our connection with WOCIP–bringing together audiences who are leading founders in the healthcare space to make meaningful connections. This event highlights the importance of changing mindsets, where founders and allies can foster the impact of diverse, innovative ideas.
“This model of collaboration is a great example of our success circle model. Connecting people is just the beginning. Our featured founders are building healthtech or health adjacent companies and the facetime they will have with other people doing similar work is invaluable.” said Johnson. “Our organization’s continuous work to support entrepreneurs and founders in their specific fields depends on building relationships with allies like WOCIP.”
